The Content Security Gateway (CSG) 300 is designed to meet the content security and resource requirements of small-medium enterprises (and the branch offices of medium and large enterprises) of up to several hundred nodes. Powered by the same stream-based scanning technology found in the CSG 100, the CSG 300 provides the next level of performance above the CSG 100. It can scan 32Mbps of HTTP traffic and 160,000 email messages per hour on SMTP.

The CSG 300 is a comprehensive content security appliance. It protects against viruses, worms, spyware, adware, and other malware on HTTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, FTP, and HTTPS. It also includes other content security applications such as anti-spam, email content filtering, and URL filtering. All of these applications for an unlimited number of users, and the first year of support and updates, are included in the product price.

The CSG 300 was specifically designed for small-medium enterprises with limited in-house IT expertise. It deploys anywhere in the network in a matter of minutes and may be deployed in pairs for redundancy. Once deployed, the CSG 300 runs automatically and unobtrusively. Simply set and forget.
