Restricting
Employee Internet Access
Using
the iPrism remote management system via any workstation with a web browser
you can restrict employee internet access, by user, group, category or
tome of day.
iPrism gives administrators
absolute control over which users access the system, how long they can
access it and when they can access it. This lets organisations enforce
their web usage policies on a group-by-group or user-by-user basis, choosing
exactly which categories of sites can be viewed.
Organisations can
choose to monitor employee web access or block it, they can also link
user profiles to customised policies or grant override rights to trusted
users. iPrism even allows an organisation to keep track of overrides and
revoke them if necessary.
Multiple
administration privilege levels let companies distribute responsibility
throughout the organisation.
Some managers can
view reports; others can have override capabilities; some can have both.
Organisations can
customise iPrism's Authentication and Access Denied screens.
These screens can be easily modified to reflect the look, feel and language
of the organisation.
Auto-Login support
for terminal server environments enables iPrism to automatically monitor
each user's Internet access using credentials obtained from the initial
system login.
